An Ode To Fear

An Ode To Fear

You ruled the world, had us bound and gagged

But you didn’t count on my being ‘bad’

Boldly challenging your authority

I couldn’t take your word as rote

When I saw its core as mirrors and smoke

False Evidence Appearing Real

Your strong persuasion often made me sick

So I jumped the ship when I sensed a shift

Away from your tyrannical rule

Your harsh instruction has served us well

Taught us deeply the error of choosing to sell

The only thing we possess that’s Real

I do not harbor ill will or hate

For that old emotion is yours, too late

To stop the wave of Light that surges

The gig is up, my lessons learned

Your tutelage appreciated, graduation earned

Time now to get back Home

Fare thee well, I say, but no longer here

Some other school now is in need of Fear

To round out their curriculum

These living grounds have hosted enough

Your destruction and strife has really been tough

Our groundkeepers will be quite busy

Your time is done; we now choose our own ways

Your subtle influence no longer rules our days

A happier life shall be had by all!

Onwards and upwards we now climb, reborn

This time unshackled, truly free to soar

To ever greater Heights

Again, no bitterness stains my joy

I get that your purpose – and your nefarious ploys

Were all part of The Lesson Plan

So Good-Bye at last, have a nice safe trip

To your new employment, with your carrots and sticks

Time for us to grow up, be our own taskmasters

Someday we’ll catch up, you and I, in some far-off Matrix

I may be called in to help a batch of lost students

Find their way out of your maze

A degree is great, but only has worth

If applied in life, offered up to serve

Our Collective Soul, other Aspects

Till then, Old Friend, and Enemy Mine

We’ve both fulfilled our roles in the Plan Divine

I look forward to both our vacation times!!!

ENTERING THE LUCID DREAM . . . . .

Ever see the incredibly creative movie Vanilla Sky? Regardless of what you think of the actors themselves in that movie (Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, and Cameron Diaz as the three biggest ‘stars’, while Penelope Cruz also co-starred in the original Spanish version called Abre Tus Ojos), the story was extremely well-scripted, well-acted and well-produced. I highly recommend it, if for nothing more than a really challenging and intense psychological ‘trip’.

Anyway, one of the concepts presented in the movie is that of the Lucid Dream. So as to not ruin the story for you, I won’t go into too much detail. Basically, the Lucid Dream is a state where the dreamer is given the opportunity to live and relive over and over again a more or less fantastic, custom-designed life. Now the trick is this: The dreamer doesn’t know that it’s all just a dream! So when it starts to ‘break down’ for the main character, it gets really, really weird.

Do ever remember your lucid dreams? I do, at least most of the time. At least for a while. By the time I’m done in the bathroom, it’s usually faded from recollection, except for a fragment or impression or two. For a while, I wrote my dreams down on a notebook next to my bed, which definitely did help to develop both dream remembrance, and lucid dreaming abilities. If you’ve never been able to remember your dreams (we all dream, as has been scientifically proven beyond a doubt – it’s the recall that many people often have trouble with is all), that writing-your-dreams-down-as-you-wake-up technique works pretty well. Also, there are many videos on YouTube on this subject, including how to start lucid dreaming and get proficient at it. It’s fun to explore, even if just as a ‘hobby’. Although I’ve never needed it that way, I bet it can help those suffering from insomnia a lot.

Lucid dreams can be really wonderful. Being fully conscious while in the dream state, knowing that you are in a dream state but feeling exactly like your ‘regular’ self (though predictably much ‘lighter’ and more relaxed and joyful and adventurous), is quite the fun experience. No rules! No consequences! No restrictions whatsoever on what you’d like to experience! Go anywhere. Do anything. Be with anybody you want, in any way you want. Wow!

Well, get ready, folks! Based on what I’ve been feeling, reading, and intuiting lately, it appears that we may all actually be on the brink of entering that ‘lucid’ state real soon now. Do you think you could handle instant satisfaction of your desires? Do you feel comfortable with every single thought manifesting itself into your reality immediately – ‘good’ or ‘bad’? Does that much freedom appeal to you? Does that much POWER appeal to you? Does having a perfect youthful body sound nice? How about a billion dollars? Yachts, race cars, jets, mansions? Clean, free energy for life? A huge organic farm in an intentional holistic community? What exactly would your ‘ideal lifestyle’ look like? What would you do with your time if you didn’t have to work to ‘earn a living’, or do the dishes, or feed the cat? Where would you live? Who would you want to ‘be’ with? What do you love to do? And would you do only that, or try to join with other people, co-create a fantasy world to share? Deep, serious questions no doubt – but critically important if you become the Grand Creator of your own life, right? It kinda cuts right to the very core of each person’s beliefs and ‘way of being’, no?

Well, all I can say about this challenge is this: After decades of consciously working on controlling my thoughts, shaping my attitudes, and transforming my entire mental and emotional landscape, there is only one absolute certainty that I have come away with – IT AINT AS EASY AS IT SOUNDS! I have strived to create and live this reality consciously to an exceptionally large degree over the past 15+ years — haphazardly at first, then with increasing ‘control’, and never quite precisely (too much detail to deal with, some of which can really go astray). And although there was always a significant time delay, and I was rarely able to maintain the ‘right’ level of vibration long enough to manifest something quite in the manner I had imagined it to come into being (or I changed my mind mid-stream and so messed it all up, the timing and such especially), I have had at least a small taste of what it’s like to consciously manifest one’s own dream-reality. It can be very cool for sure! Fantastagorical and megasuperblissful actually, believe me! But maintaining it that way over long periods of time – like, say, a whole week? Virtually impossible. Even a single day of pure joy and fun and ecstasy is pretty darn tough to keep up without some nasty little thought or negative emotion slithering its way back into the ‘rational mind’ (ego) to mess it up again! (No slight on our wonderful legless brethren the serpents, mind you). Yeah, those monkey wrenches (sorry, furry dudes) are really hard to keep from flying unexpectedly and unwelcomed into even the best-manifested dream lifestyles. .. . . .

Regardless, people, gear up and get ready for action, ‘cause I think we’re in for some pretty shocking ‘near-immediate manifestation of the collective thought-forms’ type experiences. The lids are coming off Pandora’s infamous box, the revelations will come so fast it’ll make most people dizzy (some even suicidal perhaps), and all our closets are gonna get ripped open to give those nefarious old skeletons equal and free reign on our planetary playground. ‘Interesting’ times, indeed!!!

Just remember one basic thing that I have learned from first-hand experience, and you should be just fine: Focusing on LOVE is, always was, and always will be much wiser — and more pragmatic and intelligent and enjoyable as well — than giving in to fear. I guarantee it.

Lucid Dreamin’, here we come . . . . . . . .

Achieving Perfect Health

I love Bashar.  I relate to him, his perspective and energy, very strongly.  I do not doubt that we are connected in some way, especially now.  So when I ran across this video of him (an audio recording actually, put on YouTube as a video) laying out how to achieve and maintain perfect health (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xguRyNtAy5s), I was stoked.

Now, I myself have accomplished this.  I achieved consistent, robust, vibrant health several years ago, and it has only increased since.  I do not get sick anymore.  I do not suffer aches and pains.  I sleep soundly every single night.  Most days I have more energy than I know what to do with (and the few days I don’t it’s only because of the transmutations happening on this planet at this particular time).  The people I interact with – my much younger wife included – are often baffled, and sometimes even uncomfortable, about this state of affairs.

I only mention this for one simple reason:  I AM living proof of what Bashar states in his talk. Basically, starting almost 20 years ago, I partly intentionally and partly by necessity launched myself into the simple multi-pronged process that he describes.  At the time, I had never heard of this entity, nor had I read or heard any material on health that laid things out so succinctly and effectively.  I just pieced it together somewhat haphazardly from various sources and personal experiences, and then did it.  I immediately started benefitting from the program, though it took me a while experimenting with different aspects to really get it down.  As a result, I can only recall being actually ‘sick’ (not being able to perform my daily activities normally due to fever or diarrhea or some such other ailment, and having to rest often – that’s my personal definition of ‘sick’, as being ‘bed-ridden’ is a situation I have not experienced for at least two decades) two times in the past 18 years, and having two very annoying (but not serious or debilitating) allergies.  I was hospitalized once, but that was caused by a nasty infection caused by my not properly taking care of a small open wound – an injury that I failed to deal with, and so paid the consequences – but that is not ‘sickness’, or lack of health; it is considered a ‘trauma’ in the medical field, which was aggravated by personal stupidity leading to infection.  Physical trauma (ie. accidents, like pulled muscles, cuts, car accidents, burns, broken bones, etc.) is a completely different animal, and is only indirectly related to one’s general state of ‘health’ and vibrancy.

Anyway, please take the 12 minutes to find out exactly and precisely how YOU can achieve ‘perfect health’, and maintain it, by the time the leaves turn their beautiful autumn colors in the state of Vermont this year.  By the way, you now have been provided with the best general information available on the subject – in less time that it takes to do a single yoga session – so you can no longer claim to simply ‘not know’ how to achieve this (and Yes, since I have proven this system myself, I KNOW that it works – the so-called ‘experts’ on health have very different agendas, you see, as a perfectly healthy populace would mean financial ruin for them, of course).  I mean, why would you WANT to continue to live in an unhealthy manner anyway???  I just don’t ‘get’ that self-defeating mentality, nor do I really ‘want’ to either.  That is one perplexing enigma (people refusing to act in ways to maximize their health and enjoyment of life), which after 30 years of deep and intensive personal research, I still haven’t been able to comprehend about most of my fellow human beings. . . . .

Regardless. . . . . .   Once again — as it was, is, and always shall be — every single condition and circumstance that you manifest (experience) in life comes down to one pivotal element:  conscious or unconscious personal CHOICE.  May you choose well!

A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS . . . .

I was sitting out on my porch Saturday morning on a pillow, just leaning against the wall with a nice spiritual book I was rereading after first being blessed with its exciting real-life adventures and transformational information around 20 years ago, and sipping on some fresh home-brewed Central American coffee. I drifted a bit from the pages I was engrossed in, and reflected on the idea, oft-repeated via many different sources, that we all need to hold the vision of our New Earth and its Life-enhancing culture as frequently and passionately as possible in our hearts and minds these days, thereby facilitating its rapid manifestation into our collective reality. This visualization practice, not necessarily as easy as it appears on the surface (but actually really fun once you get into it), is something I personally have been doing for quite a while now. I’ve been both encouraged and elated to see many others join us Lightworkers in this Sacred Cause of late.

All of a sudden, I felt it: A wonderful, ineffably powerful, absolutely delicious and joyfully incapacitating wave of PUL (Pure Unconditional Love) washing over and through me as I gazed out into my yard on this soft rainy day unfolding before me. It was tremendous! The thoughts came unbidden: We are with you, dear soul, as always. You and we are now closer than ever, and we know that you can feel that Reality more and more each day. We are giving you as much as we can now, and are so delighted that you can sense our unending support for you, and accept it so willingly and joyfully. We shall be reunited in waking consciousness very, very soon now. . . . .

While still reeling a bit from the overwhelming influx of pure love energies, I went to change the radio station — but wait! What’s that song playing right now, another one of those old favorites from the 80’s? Didn’t they use this one for Bill Clinton’s theme song??? I let it play out, knowing that the timing of its arrival was not coincidental. . . . .

Don’t Stop by Fleetwood Mac
(some selected excerpts)

Open your eyes and look at the day
You’ll see things in a different way

Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here
It’ll be here, better than before
Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone . . . .

Try to think about the times to come
And not about the things that you’ve done
If your love was . . . to you
Just think what tomorrow will do

All I want is to see you smile
If it takes just a little while
I know you don’t believe that it’s true
I never meant any harm to you. . . .

Don’t you look back . . . . .

After relaxing to that wonderful tune by Fleetwood Mac, absorbing and enjoying its timely message, I went to finish what I started to do and change the station to some light jazz or softer pop – but wait! (Yes, again). Could it be?! Another little message from my Friends On High coming through??? . . . . . . .

That’s What Friends Are For by Dionne Warwick & A Whole Slew of Her Friends
(a few relevant excerpts)

And I never thought I’d feel this way . . . .

Keep Smiling, Keep Shining
Knowing you can always count on me, for sure
That’s what friends are for
For good times, and bad times
I’ll be on your side forevermore
That’s what friends are for. . . . .

Well you came and opened me
And now there’s so much more I see
And so by the way I thank you. . . .

And then, for the times when we’re apart
Well then close your eyes and know
The words are comin’ from my heart
And then if you can remember
Keep smiling, Keep shining. . . . .

Be well, my fellow co-creators, and Keep smiling, Keep shining. Please consider joining me and many thousands of others out there and open up your hearts, and your consciousness, enough to allow our mutual Friends to grace your life as directly and profoundly and wonderfully as they have graced mine. They’re eagerly awaiting your heartfelt invitation. Can’t you hear ‘em knockin’??? Go ahead, open the door and let ‘em in! Join me in the chorus now. . . .

I get by with a little help from my Friends,
Yeah, I’m gonna try with a little help from my Friends. . . . .

FOLLOW THE LEADERs

Collectively, at this precise moment in space-time, humanity teeters on the very, very edge of a gaping dark chasm.  This chasm represents the divide between the Old Earth systems of limitation, duality, and restriction, and the New Earth systems of limitlessness, unity, and uninhibited glorious co-creation.  So who, I wonder, shall lead us over this murky chasm of chaos and uncertainty into the Promised Land of our Golden Age of Freedom?

What type of people are capable of this grand feat?  Who among us has no fear whatsoever of exploring new ways of doing things?  Who looks at ALL possible solutions to our current problems without prejudice or prejudgment?  Who among us has no self-imposed restrictions on their imaginations, or their creative juices?  Who among us still carries an insatiable curiosity about how things work, what makes things tick, and why?  Who do you know in this world that wakes up every single day with vim and vigor and a rare zest for life, eager to see what amazing things they can learn and do and accomplish, what new areas of activity they can investigate in order to make their lives — and the lives of the people around them — even more fun and interesting than it was yesterday, or is today?  Who in this crazy world is actually eager to help their fellow human beings enjoy life to the fullest, and eager to share that enjoyment with as many others as possible?  Hmmm.  Good question, huh?

There are children playing in the streets who could solve some of my top problems in physics, because they have modes of sensory perception that I lost long ago.  — J. Robert Oppenheimer

Why, OUR CHILDREN, of course!  The ‘little masters’ that have come into our lives, our households, our communities — without fear, without limits, and without any ‘programmed’ ideas of what is or is not possible in this blossoming new world.  These wise souls are the great leaders who will guide us into the exciting transformed world of our unfolding New Earth, show us how to ‘navigate’ this awesome new territory.  They’re naturals at it, you see.

Why do I feel this way?  For starters, it seems that every single luminary in our past – Buddha, Jesus, Krishna, Gandhi, Osho, Einstein, etc. – has encouraged us to become ‘like little children’ in our approach to learning, and living our lives.  What they meant, as some clearly spelled out, is not to revert to an uneducated person who is irresponsible or undisciplined, no; but rather, to return to our state of ‘innocence’, when life was a joy to live, everything was alive with vibration and color, every new day offered new experiences and adventures, and brightness and limitless positive possibilities – versus boring routine and stress and fear – ruled our attitudes and states of being.

For example, the quality of living only in the NOW moment – letting go of the past, and not worrying even a second about the future – is one of the greatest qualities any master can strive to develop — and one that kids have down pat naturally (until their parents and ‘modern’ society in general psychologically beats it out of them, of course).  Curiosity, open-mindedness, intensity of focus, constantly pushing the envelope of (and expanding) one’s skills and abilities, unrelenting faith in positive outlooks, irrepressible resiliency even in the face of injury or physical abuse, and especially the uninhibited expression of joy and love – are these not among the qualities that our children naturally display every day of their lives, and the same qualities that all of our Great Masters have encouraged us to develop in ourselves in order to reach the heights of both physical and spiritual achievement?  Is that just a ‘coincidence’ — or could it represent something more . . . . . meaningful?

It really humbles me sometimes when my little daughter reminds me, in the white flash of a joy-filled instant and without even trying, what is really important in life.  Most evenings she just can’t help but start giggling when it’s time to put her pajamas on, ‘cause she knows that there is a distinct possibility of the ‘tickle fingers’ making their auspicious appearance, coming out of nowhere to rock her world.  Her rib cage and neck are no match for the quick and agile tickle fingers, no matter how hard she tries to push them back!  But what really gets to me is this:  on those occasional nights when I’m a little bit bothered or tired or frustrated, distracted by something that happened (or didn’t happen) earlier that day, and just not feeling very playful; when her habit of running into the corner of our bed laughing to escape the ‘onslaught’ doesn’t produce it’s desired effect (the tickle fingers do not appear), oftentimes she actually comes back over towards me and grabs my fingers, pulling them towards her so she and Daddy can play a while.  And I am uplifted once again — and also deeply embarrassed and humbled — by the Little Master that has entered my world to help me understand more clearly what I am, and all of us are, really here for.

Now who could be better people than that to lead us worn out, battle-weary, aching old souls over the chasm of darkness and confusion, and into our glorious and vibrant collective future . . . . . .?

BUILD YOUR SKYSCRAPER!

Around the time I was in university, taking a class called Ancient Myths And Modern Meaning, I read an old adage:  ‘In order to scale to great heights, you must first plumb the depths.’  Something like that.  I feel it might be related to that other saying about the consciousness-expanding process, ‘You gotta go through hell in order to get to Heaven!’.

In ’06 I made my only visit to New York City.  (I wanted to see it ‘while it was still there’ – modern Rome at its infamous zenith – as I was still a bit of a ‘doom-and-gloomer’ back then).  I was walking down to the waterfront in lower Manhattan, not far from the felled towers, and had to skirt around a massive construction site.  The construction was only in its first or second phase – a full square block hole in the ground (remember, I’m in MANHATTAN!), at least 60 feet deep, maybe much more.  There were giant machines and hundreds of workers all over the place looking like so many oversized ants from my ‘heights’ above on the street level.  I was reminded of something I’d read about construction techniques years earlier.  It had said that, when building skyscrapers, most of the critical and delicate and time-consuming work was done in the beginning, when they actually excavated downwards into the Earth in order to build the foundation for the shooting towers of concrete and steel.  It said that almost the same amount of time was spent below the surface, laying the foundation, than was spent above the street level, to construct the actual skyscraper.  Wow.

Now, to put it into perspective:  To build a thousand-foot skyscraper, they spend the first HALF of their time and effort going down 60-100 feet!  (approximately – I’m no engineer, so please don’t hold me precisely to this).  Fascinating.

‘OK, Waverider, wonderful little tidbit for my next game of Trivial Pursuit —  but so what?  What has that got to do with the price of tea in China?’ you might ask (that’s an old saying my mom used on us a lot growing up).  Well, everything, really.  No, not the specific mechanisms whereby the fair-market retail costs of certain dry herbs are determined in the Far East maybe.  But it speaks to what we ALL go through when we engage the challenging process of self-actualization.

We are at the cusp of an historic shift in our realities.  This Grand Paradigm Shift of the Ages is not simply historic in the ‘four score and seven years ago’ sense, but in the ‘. . .and God created Man in His image and likeness’ sense.  For those who have not begun this process yet, or have tried to begin but seem to keep getting stuck – reaching a certain point and hitting wall after wall after wall – I’d like to express this thought:  IT’S TIME TO GET MOVING, FOLKS!  If you truly want to build yourself (and your Self) a ‘skyscraper’ of self-esteem, self-confidence, integrity, peace, love, joy, and fun – in other words, a life of deep satisfaction and fulfillment and dreams-come-true – then NOW is the time to do it.

In regards to the above metaphor, both my deep research and intense experience in this area point to its veracity:  One must delve deeply into one’s murky subconscious depths of beingness (childhood upbringing, adolescent trauma, pivotal emotional events of early adulthood, unhealed/unforgiven ‘injuries’, hidden roots of a low self-image, etc.), dig up any and all the suppressed, obscure ‘dross’ that has been weighing you down like anchors on a speedboat, and heal that stuff once and for all, in whatever way(s) your personal philosophy can handle:  Offer it up to the Light (or an Archangel, Ascended Master, Guide, Love, Divinity, Christ, etc.); talk to a therapist; do energy work; sign up for a cleansing/purging program; go to group therapy sessions; and/or (one of the most effective tools in my personal experience) practice deep meditation (assisted and/or solo).

Build your skyscraper.  Now.  Please.   With determination, with vigor, and with joy.  There is really, truly nothing better you can do at this moment of history for yourself, your loved ones, our beloved planet, and for ALL.  Dream big, dream wide, dream tall, and then go out – and especially IN – and make it happen!

One Of These Nights . . . .

Yesterday morning I did something very unusual.  I was ‘urged’ to do it, so I did.  Just before getting up, I listened to a song on my wife’s iPod (not one that she listens to, btw, but got on there), that she just happened to leave on the bed — and got TOTALLY into it.  It was really, really intense, almost as intense as the visions I had had a bit earlier just after waking, and feeling the message that I was going to read later that day from the GFL about all of us soon being able to live our grandest dreams, fulfil our most passionate desires. . . . .

Anyway, the musical and linguistic artistry of this song feels very appropriate for what is happening on this planet right now, and especially to all of us, internally.  I’ve highlighted some lines that seem to imply that the artists themselves were hinting at a deeper, more profound meaning than just that of seeking a ‘special’ fantasy woman to get wild with.  What do you think?

One Of These Nights

The Eagles

 One of these nights
One of these crazy old nights
We’re gonna find out
Pretty mama
What turns on your lights
The full moon is calling
The fever is high
And the wicked wind whispers
And moans

You got your demons
You got desires
Well, I got a few of my own

Oooh, someone to be kind to
In between the dark and the light
Oooh, coming right behind you
Swear I’m gonna find you
One of these nights

One of these dreams
One of these lost and lonely dreams
We’re gonna find one
One that really screams

I’ve been searching for the daughter
Of the devil himself
I’ve been searching for an angel in white
I’ve been waiting for a woman who’s a little
Of both
And I can feel her but she’s nowhere
In sight

Oooh, loneliness will blind you
In between the wrong and the right
Oooh, coming right behind you
Swear I’m gonna find you
One of these nights

One of these nights
In between the dark and the light
Coming right behind you
Swear I’m gonna find you
Get ya baby one of these nights
One of these nights
One of these nights
I can feel it
I can feel it
One of these nights
Coming right behind you
Swear I’m gonna find you now
One of these nights.. . . .
