life and times . . . . a waverider's perspective

Flight Of The Songbird

I was stirred to compose this song by a new internet friend of mine, a beautiful vocalist who has recently awakened to her True Identity, and has been spreading Light and Joy to many who had never been exposed to these concepts before as she helps to facilitate and encourage the Great Shift we are NOW experiencing.  Thank you, A.S., for inspiring me!

bird singing on branch, colorful

Flight Of The Songbird

She hides among the leaves

Of the Tree of Life, so bright . . .

Little Wing, she ventures only

To echo others’ creations, in the dark of the night

One time she was emboldened

She risked it all, what a sight . . .

Burst out from her shielded depths

An explosion of expressions, pristine beauty and light

Oh, in the past, since forever

The darkness ruled the roost

Night and day

But now forever has ended

the roost unmade

And the songbird – with All of her kind

Is free to spread her translucent wings of Light

And fly far, fly away . . . .

The first time she had dared

Went out on a limb, took a risk

Oh how she sang out!

A fount of joy-burst, heaven’s mist

But it did not end too well

Advantage was taken, her purity dimmed

The veil of leaves and their shadows

Called her back to protect her from sin

(chorus)

The seasons have changed now

The New Spring has arrived

And those who made it through the winter

Most have shifted out of the somber lower vibes

Little Wing can truly FLY now!

Living butterflies, rainbows and fairytale dreams!

Her and ALL her resonant Brethren now soar free

Their Inner Joy expanding limitlessly

Fly far, fly free . . . . .

Songbirds now unite in ecstatic reverie!
